Rajouri, Jan 15: Security forces are conducting a Cordon and Search Operation (CASO) in dense forests of Poonch with senior officers leading the operation.
As per officials, over specific intelligence inputs, J&K Police, its Special Operation Group (SOG), along with the Army, launched a CASO in Bhata Dhurian, Loharka, Nar, and Sanjiote villages of Poonch’s Mendhar sub division on Wednesday evening.
They said that the operation continued for the second day on Thursday.
SSP Poonch, along with other senior officers of the police and other security forces are leading the operation.
