Srinagar, Mar 6: JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra has sought the resignation of Prime Minister Narender Modi, alleging him of a “surrender before US President Donald Trump and compromising the dignity, honour and interests of the nation in the US trade deal and succumbing to US pressures over foreign policy,” said a press release.
Addressing an anti US trade deal rally in R S Pura, Karra opposed the deal terming it anti-farmers, anti-people and against the interests of country. He alleged that PM Modi has “surrendered before US due to fear of secrets in Epstein files and Adani case in US.” “So much so, he couldn’t condemn the assassination of head of Iran and famous religious leader by US and Israel, whereas Iran has always helped India in crisis. This is very embarrassing for our country and against the established foreign policy of India. He country has lost all good friends in the world under Modi and times ahead would be difficult for our country,” added the press release.
JKPCC Chief said that Rahul Gandhi has “rightly pointed out that PM Modi is compromised for fear of Epstein files and case against his friend Adani in US and country’s interests are under stake under him.”
He said that Congress would strongly oppose this anti-farmers deal and hold protests on March 9 at all district Hqs in J&K, on the opening day of Parliament. He said that JK Congress will also plan a yatra in J&K to oppose the deal and for restoration of statehood.
Working President Raman Bhalla criticized India trade deal seeking its immediate roll back, terming it against the interests of countrymen especially farmers and fruit growers.
