Jammu, Dec 18: BNI Jammu Kashmir on Thursday inaugurated BNI Milap Sportz Season 4 at Greenfields Ground, Gandhinagar, marking the start of another edition of the business networking organisation’s flagship sports initiative that blends competitive cricket with relationship-driven networking.
The opening day, as per a statement issued, witnessed enthusiastic participation from BNI members across multiple chapters, with three matches played, setting an energetic tone for the tournament.
In the first match, Ace defeated Inspire, with Rahul Kalpuria named Man of the Match. Abundance registered a convincing win over Oscar, with Sugam Dogra earning the Man of the Match award. In the third encounter, Kubri outplayed Ace, with Zeeshan Ul Haq adjudged Man of the Match.
A key highlight of the day was the impressive performance of Team Kubri (Kashmir), the newest chapter of BNI Jammu Kashmir. Their victory against Ace marked a significant milestone, reflecting the growing presence and expansion of the BNI network in the Kashmir region.
The participating teams in the tournament include Ace, Inspire, Oscar, Abundance and Kubri (Kashmir). Among individual achievements on Day 1, Mayank Gupta claimed the Orange Cap, while Zeeshan Ul Haq secured the Purple Cap.
Four matches are scheduled on Day 2 (December 19) between 8 am and 4 pm. The fixtures include Abundance vs Inspire, Oscar vs Kubri, Abundance vs Ace, and Oscar vs Inspire.
The statement added that BNI Milap Sportz Season 4 aims to strengthen professional relationships, promote teamwork and foster collaboration among business leaders across Jammu and Kashmir through sports.
