Srinagar, Mar 05: In a surprising move, the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, tendered his resignation on Thursday, news agency ANI reported, quoting sources.
Gupta had taken oath as the third Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory on July 18, 2025.
There was no immediate word from his office on the reasons behind his resignation.
