Srinagar, Feb 18: The Khelo India Bike and Motorcycle Rally was flagged off from Bakshi Stadium here on Wednesday, with officials saying the event aims to promote adventure sports, showcase Jammu and Kashmir’s tourism potential and build momentum ahead of the upcoming Khelo India Winter Games.
The event was flagged off by the Joint Director Tourism, Kashmir, Waseem Raja.
“This rally is not just a sports event but a platform to showcase the beauty of our valley and the spirit of our youth,” Raja Waseem told reporters on the sidelines.
As reported by the news agency KNO, he said participants from across India become our brand ambassadors, spreading positivity and the warmth of J&K hospitality.
