Srinagar, Mar 09: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) President and former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir on Monday visited the Iranian Cultural Centre & Embassy in Delhi, paying tributes to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on his martyrdom and offering her deepest condolences to the people of Iran in these difficult times.
During the visit, the PDP supremo raised issue of students’ safety and return with Iranian representatives.
In a statement, a spokesperson said, “PDP Chief visited the Iranian Cultural Centre & Embassy in Delhi to offer her deepest condolences to the people of Iran in these difficult times & paid tributes to Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on his martyrdom. Also took up the issue of Kashmiri students stranded in Iran with the Hon’ble Ambassador and urged for their safety and early return.”
