Srinagar, Apr 5: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) held a one-day workers convention at Hanjura in Charar-e-Sharief Budgam, under general secretary (Organisation) Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura, to take stock of the party activities at grassroots level.
As per a press release, Adv Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura stressed upon workers for presentations for district level public rally at Budgam in coming days. Hanjura also stressed upon completion of on going membership drive to make basic carder of the party more stronger to get the good results in upcoming panchayat and Municipal elections.
Hanjura hit out at the CM Omar-led government, saying on ground common people face hardships like hike in electricity and drinking water bills as well as damaged roads like war zones. Other party leaders who spoke on the occasion were zonal President Abdul Salaam, District President Youth wing Mushtaq Zuhami,District vice president Gh Mohammad Raina State secretary youth Dr Nazir ,Senior leader Mohammad Shafi Shadab, District coordinator Aftab Ahmad Mir, Zonal President youth Tahir Nengroo, Block presidents Nazir Ahmad Khan, Gh Mohd Rather Gh Ahmad Naz, Ab Rehman and Lateef Ahmad Dar.
