Wildlife team rescues bear in Anantnag village

Achabal, Nov 24: The Wildlife Control Room Achabal of Bringi Valley Range of Anantnag district on Monday successfully tranquilised and rescued a bear who had taken shelter inside the cowshed of Peer Manzoor Ahmad at Bresen Chittergull.

Officials told news agency Kashmir News Corner (KNC) that the bear was safely sedated by the team before being removed from the cowshed to prevent any harm to locals or the animal.

After the rescue operation, the bear was released back into its natural habitat, officials added, terming the operation successful and timely.
