Ahmedabad, Feb 26: The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) is set to establish its first campus in Jammu and Kashmir, with the land identification process currently underway in consultation with the UT government, officials said.
NFSU, headquartered at Gujarat’s Gandhi Nagar, is world’s first and only forensic science university and has become an institution of international importance.
In interaction with media persons who are on visit to Gujarat under PIB initiative, the faculty of University stated that it is establishing more campuses across the country with one is expected to come up in Jammu and Kashmir.
” We are in consultation with Jammu and Kashmir Government and process for land identification is going on.” faculty informed adding that the campus will aid investigation aspects in Jammu and Kashmir.
