Srinagar, Apr 27: Traders of Shaher-e-Khaas have sought measures to streamline the traffic system in Downtown areas.
To redress issues being faced by traders, SSP Traffic Srinagar Ajaz Ahmad and DSP Traffic Mehboob-ul-Haque visited Downtown areas today. During the visit the representatives of Shahr-e-Khaas Traders Alliance led by president Nazir Ahmad Shah apprised the SSP Traffic about traffic bottlenecks.
Traffic congestion is one of the major intersections in Downtown, the BohriKadalChowk. “We apprised SSP Traffic about problems faced by commuters and residents in absence of parking slots and also identified bottlenecks hampering smooth vehicular movement. The officials assured that they have taken note of the issues and will review them and come up with solutions to streamline the traffic system,’” Nazir Ahmad Shah said.
The traders delegation comprised Aasim Rangrez, Hashim Gupkari, UmerGhani, Feroz Ahmad.
