Zainab Bilal of Iram Lane, Natipora Srinagar, has become the first visually impaired girl from the Kashmir valley to score 475 out of 500 in CBSE Class 10 examinations declared on Wednesday.
Speaking to reporters, she said “I never thought I would score this high, but thanks to God, I got 475,” she said.
She secured 100 out of 100 in Computer and credited her success to her parents, teachers, and Delhi Public School Srinagar for strong support. She also acknowledged the role of the Learning Resource Centre in helping her emotionally and mentally.
Zainab plans to pursue Bachelors in Computer Applications and continue in IT. She urged students to stay consistent and asked parents to support specially abled children.
