Srinagar, Apr 23: Presentation Convent Secondary School Rajbagh Thursday organised the 16th Venerable Nano Nagle Inter School Rolling Trophy Debate.
A statement of the Presentation Convent school issued here said that 11 leading schools of Kashmir participated in the debate.
The young debaters expressed their ideas and views on the topic ‘NEP 2020 Ensures Inclusive and Equitable Quality Education and Lifelong Opportunities for All.’
P J Johnson founder Principal, G D Goenka Public School Srinagar graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The esteemed panel of judges included IffatMaqbool, Professor English Department, Kashmir University, Sheikh Gulzar Ahmad, senior academic officer in the languages branch SCERT and Farzana Syed news editor All India Radio, Srinagar.
After an engaging and thoughtful debate, St Joseph, Baramulla won the runner-up trophy and the winner’s trophy was bagged by Presentation Convent Higher Secondary School.
ToibaMushtaq from Saint Joseph Baramulla and Zoha from Presentation Convent won the best speaker trophy.
“The event was a grand success,” the statement said.
